Forever After starts with one family workspace and one person. The original recording stays the source. Later answers have to point back to what was approved. That is the whole product idea: record, approve, then ask.
Create
One family can keep several lives without mixing them.
A family workspace can hold up to ten independently governed profiles. Each person has their own consent, review, and Talk boundary, so one life is never used to answer for another.
Living loved one
The creator attests to explicit agreement. No source upload is allowed until governance is ready.
Memorial
Authority and source ownership are recorded. Recollections remain the living speaker’s words.
AI remains separate: archive consent never creates a voice profile, sends training material, or enables a call.
Gather
The phone becomes a calm recording room.
The Story Room asks for one decision at a time. You choose who is speaking, record the original, add only the context the family knows, and send it privately for review.

See the person, speaker, source, privacy, and transcript before deciding. On your own archive, that reviewer is you.
Approval is the gate. Until a source is approved for that person, it cannot appear in a family-wide view or answer a Talk question.
Awaiting review
Private media is visible only to authorized reviewers while the decision is open.
Approved
The source can appear in the selected person’s Archive and Timeline.
Owner only
The source stays outside family-wide views and remains unavailable to Talk.
Revoked or deleted
Playback and Talk access stop immediately while derived cleanup completes.
Archive
The same approved moments, seen three ways.
Library helps you find sources. Timeline keeps chronology. Life Atlas groups approved moments by chapter without ranking a person. Missing dates remain “Date not yet gathered.”
- Explicit scope: a person is selected before Archive, Timeline, or Talk loads.
- Approved only: pending and restricted sources never leak into a broad view.
- Accessible parity: map, timeline, and semantic list share the same information.
Talk
An answer is useful only when you can see why it was given.
Talk looks only inside the selected family and person, checks each candidate again, and validates every citation. If the approved evidence is missing, unclear, revoked, private, or belongs to someone else, Talk refuses.

Demo copy only. No real family. A supported answer keeps the citation IDs with it so you can open the approved source. Raw family media never appears in public logs.
Privacy
Privacy changes take effect before the next read.
- Membership, profile, review, consent, privacy, and deletion state are checked again for every private read.
- Unauthorized, revoked, rejected, deleted, and cross-profile content returns the same 404.
- Media, captions, chunks, vectors, citations, flags, links, and candidates are removed.
- Only a content-free audit record remains after deletion.
