Account deletion
Delete your account and associated data
Account deletion starts in the authenticated Forever After app. This public page explains the process. It does not collect an unverified deletion request.
Use the in-app account control.
Open Settings, choose Account, and select Delete account. The app asks you to confirm the full request before any account deletion workflow begins.

Start an authenticated deletion request
- Sign in to the Forever After app with the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings, then Account, and choose Delete account.
- Review the full account-and-data scope and confirm that you intend to proceed.
- If the request is still cancelable, return to the same account area to cancel it. Once deletion work has begun, the app shows the current status instead.
Do not email private archive material to start deletion.
Email support@inbetwiddle.com only if you cannot regain access to the authenticated app. Support can help restore secure access; it is not a substitute for the in-app deletion request.

What the request covers
Your owned family
If you are the sole owner, the request covers your owned family archive rather than silently transferring ownership to another person.
Archive content
Applicable private originals, derivatives, captions, extracted text, citations, flags, links, review records, and associated processing data.
Separate content actions
Owners can delete a permitted archive source and participants can delete a Talk conversation from its in-app surface without deleting the whole account.
A contributor cannot use their own account deletion request to delete another person’s account or a family archive they do not own.
After confirmation
What happens next
- The service records the verified request, restricts normal account mutations, and removes registered device tokens.
- A retryable deletion workflow removes authorized account, membership, archive, conversation, and provider-state records.
- The identity record is removed after the associated application data has been processed.
- The app reports request status. If extra verification or a recoverable operational failure is needed, support will communicate through a verified channel.
Deletion may take additional time while private media and derived records are removed. The app keeps you informed of progress.
Deletion evidence
What may remain
Forever After retains only a content-free audit record when it is needed for security, fraud prevention, or operational deletion evidence. It can contain an opaque identifier, time, request type, and receipt hash. It does not retain deleted private media, transcripts, source text, citations, vectors, wellness values, voice samples, or family content.
Applicable law may require limited records to be retained. If that applies to a request, the service will identify the category and reason through the verified account or support channel.
